If Windows Updates runs, and after that Ardex won’t open, the steps to follow are:

  • Restart computer
  • Click ‘START’ button at the bottom left of screen
  • Type ‘services’ then launch the Services app
  • Click ‘View Local Services
  • Scroll down to the service ‘SQL Server (xxxxxxxxx)’
  • Click to highlight that service and choose ‘Start this Service’ on the left side of the screen
  • Launch Ardex
